Laura wrote and produced a comedy video for The New Yorker and had her comedy featured by New York Magazine. She co-wrote and starred in the sketch show Femme Fairy Tales: Disney Princesses Become Feminists which premiered at UCB and ran for a year in NYC and LA and was selected for the 2020 Chicago Sketch Festival. Femme Fairy Tales was adapted into a book called Cinderella and the Glass Ceiling, which was optioned for television. Previously, she co-wrote and starred in the sketch show, This Is Why You're Single, which ran off and on for two years and was also turned into a book of the same name and was optioned for television. The live sketch show was praised by The Wall Street Journal (“An entertaining ride through some of the curiosities and headaches of modern dating.”) and featured in The New York Times ("Humorous takes on how we date now."), Time Out New York and the New York Daily News
